Prince Harry proposed outside of the Sydney Opera House as he bids Australia farewell.
Prince Harry was shown quite a lot of love by the Aussie’s as he prepared to leave after his Australian army secondment ended. A woman in the crowd of fans cheering for Prince Harry asked him to marry her.
The woman has been identified as Victoria McRae who was standing in line with crowd wearing a plastic crown, according to BBC. As the Prince passed from in front of the crowd Victoria planted a swift kiss on him and asked him to marry her.
Prince Harry responded with a coy smile and told the admiring Victoria he would have to think about it. Although the marriage proposal is not the first received by the Prince, Harry has yet to accept any offer.
The Prince spent the last month along with army units in the Australian cities of Perth and Sydney as part of duty. Prince Harry was part of the Norforce a unit which patrols northern Australia.
Later at a function at the Macquarie University Prince Harry described his time in Australia as fantastic, as he had never expected thousands of people to turn up at the Opera House and declared he has received more than one kiss that day.
After the last official event of his stay in Australia Prince Harry told the press he feels he is incredibly fortunate to have worked with the unit of Australian Defence Force.
Earlier in March it was announced Prince harry will be ending his 10 year military career in June of 2015. The Prince even discussed how he is looking forward to a new chapter in his life. The press then asked the Prince if he was looking forward to seeing his new niece, to which he replied he is and she’s beautiful.
