- Sports Illustrated features plus size models for their latest issue
Sports Illustrated has been experimenting with the idea of plus size models and this issue they have went all out featuring Ashley Graham and Robyn Lawley.
Sports Illustrated has released its “Swimsuits for All” edition and has put its long struggle to represent the plus sized figure in its covers. Ashley Graham becomes the body for the SI #CurvesinBikini model. With a plus sized figure, Ashley features in a three piece bikini with a guy admiring her bold figurine as he falls in to the pool in awe.

While Ashley has blown the cover of the latest issue of SI, she is not the rookie for the plus size that has been featured on the magazine. Ashley has shot for the magazine before and she has featured in this issue to make a statement she supports.

The model who has been featured with a plus sized body on the magazine is the Australian native, Robyn Lawley. At 6”2, Robyn has a plus size 12 and she is literally a plus sized model in all senses. She is the body that defines the meaning of plus size.
Robyn Lawley is also being called the veteran for the magazine plus sized shoot as she is the first ever model who is being featured with a plus sized body originally i.e. she hasn’t reached a plus size like Ashley has but has that body size with which she has been shot and featured.
Her main shot comprises of her wearing an orange and animal print bikini with a curvaceous body to die for. This is a statement for all the people who believe that only a skinny body can look sexy.
Meanwhile, size 16 Ashley looks sexy as hell flaunting her overpowering bodice in front of guys who are looking at her with lustful eyes. Ashley has definitely made a statement with her photoshoot with a curvaceous figure bulging in all the right places.
Guys definitely have a treat on their hands while looking at a clear contrast of a plus sized figure from the skinny models giving the literal meaning to “lots of her to love”. Ashley hasn’t shied away from the camera. She has been avid supporter of the “Embrace your Size” movement.
She admits she was mocked when she was a child for being weak in sports but as she moved up in high school, she took to modeling putting an end to her parents’ worries and has never looked back.
She supports that one should be comfortable in the skin they are in. Anyone telling themselves otherwise should take a look at their own selves in the mirror and try to come to terms with what they have instead of what should be.
Ashley lives a healthy, eats healthy and exercises healthy. She just says that its better to live healthy and acceptance is a big part of that process. It is what it is. We shouldn’t live unhealthy or tensed for the want of a slimmer body when the plus sized body you have looks doubly better. These two women, Robyn Lawley and Ashley Graham, are the living proof that plus sized curvaceous bodies are sexier.
