Roseanne Barr, the television celebrity, talked recently about this and that. Among the topics that got discussed were her blindness, marijuana, anti-feminism and eschewing voting for Hillary.
Currently, Roseanne Barr is in her 60s, has chopped hair which is colored a brilliant yellow and wears a jacket with tight jeans. She still maintains her straightforward demeanor although some mellowing of the personality has occurred with age.
Roseanne Barr has her humorous side though and you never know when it will emerge from the dead serious façade. She was known as a Queen of Comedy once upon a time. Now though she is just a shadow of the former woman.
One thing is certain though, she is losing her eyesight rapidly. Roseanne loves smoking marijuana which she says is the best thing for macular degeneration. She also mysteriously believes it frees one from the evils of mind control (whatever that means).
Roseanne has glaucoma, like her dad had before her. She is bound to go blind one day. Roseanne Barr mentioned to The Daily Beast that she loved to read and she supposed she would get someone else to read out the words to her when she had gone blind.
Barr fought the 2012 elections from the platform of the Green Party. But she failed to win a nomination. Then there is the fact that she won’t be voting for Hillary. Barr went so far as to say that she was just like the other liberal democrats.
Roseanne Barr used a few curse words to describe the Clintons whom she thoroughly dislikes. When asked whether the first female president of the United States strikes her as being a revolutionary step in the right direction, Roseanne says that it makes no difference.
She said that whatever was in the underwear of the president had absolutely no effect on what his or her performance will be like in office. Finally, Roseanne Barr said that she will always speak her mind and if somebody doesn’t like it they can go to hell as far as she is concerned. Feminism was just a word.
