Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively Daughter Name is JAMES

The first time parents named their daughter ‘James’ which is a gender neutral choice, Reynolds revealed after three months on the Today show.

Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively welcomed their daughter into the world about three months ago but have remained super quite about the name of their daughter. Since the last three months the newly minted parents haven’t shared the name of their daughter with the public. 

Ryan Reynolds recently sat down with Willie Geist on the Today’s show to promote his film ‘Woman in Gold’. During the promotion visit Reynolds finally opened up about the name of his daughter which had become a top secret topic. 

Geist mentioned the topic by saying Reynolds said a few months before his daughter was born that he was going to name her Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds, therefore is the talk show host eligible enough to call her Anna at least. 

Reynolds went on to joke further and stated Excalibur Anaconda Reynolds is not his daughters name but Butternut Summer-squash, in a deadpan style. After having a laugh Reynolds made the give unveil that people have been waiting for nearly three months.

In a serious tone Reynolds revealed his daughter’s name is actually ‘James’. Reynolds finally confirmed the rumors that his daughters name is James Reynolds but the proud father added everyone knows by now.

It was rumored since the birth of their daughter that Reynolds and Lively were going to name her either James or Violet. Reynolds shared his reason for having kept his daughters name a secret until now, as he didn’t want to be the first one to have screamed the name to the media. According to Reynolds little girls grow into teenagers and they can scan through history and wonder why their parents would have made such an issue with their name. 

So there was no ulterior motive on part of Reynolds for keeping his daughters name a secret until now other than thinking ahead. No matter how long it took and whatever way it was revealed the name is out there now and we can formally and officially welcome James Reynolds into the world. 

While some will consider the name James as mainly masculine for a girl, the name is actually unisex and applicable to girls, the name is not very popular among girls and more often used for boys but both of James parents also have unisex name so she will fit right in the gender neutral family.

Currently  James is the only child of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively but she /4/not remain alone for long as Lively once shared in an interview she would like a litter of kids.
