The Oscars selfie proves to be a win for the Note 3
Celebrity endorsement is certainly not a new thing in the world of marketing products and it is all about guessing which star is going to receive the highest endorsement in a movie. There are the normal intentional endoresements and then there is the Oscars selfie. The famous selfie was initiated by Ellen DeGeneres and included Jared Leto, Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, Lupita Nyong’o, Angelina Jolie, Channing Tatum and Bradley Cooper. The selfie set a world record of the most retweeted picture (3,301,821 times) and also brought down the Twitter with so much traffic.
It should have been the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 receiving the golden statue on the Oscars evening but it did receive something similar. It was a winner in every aspect with its take on the social media. Suzanne Vranica, a Wall Street Journal reporter, has stated that Samsung has spent around $20 million in its advertisement campaigns but the selfie was not exactly part of this sum. There was a sponcorship agreement which said that the Note 3 would be incorporated into the event somehow but it was never stated ho exatly the device would make its appearance.
ABC network, the one airing the Oscars event, took the opportunity of letting Ellen DeGeneres take selfies as she had spilled her wish earlier. The executives at Samsung apprently had to give an entire tutorial to Ellen on how to use the phone. Though it has been claimed that the picture was tweeted with some other phone, but none of that matters now because Samsung was just able to have all its glory from the tweet.
A fantastic display, slim build and fast software make the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 a winner. Here’s our full review: t.co/PKWnUpw4Ws

Though an Oscar selfie isnt enough to drive people into buying the Note 3 but one thing becomes quite evident after the tweet and that is the large group size which has been fitted in the front camera and the picture still turned out to be so clear.
