Samsung to release Iron Man Versions of Galaxy S6 and S6 edge

The phones will have their own collection of Marvel-themed wallpapers, home screen icons and even ringtones

It frequently happens that two companies, who have absolutely zero common ground, decide to partner and the result is usually ridiculously lame and useless. This is exactly what we think about Samsung’s new flagship devices having their own Iron Man versions. Yup, that’s right (regardless of how immature that sounds). Samsung has announced its plans to release the Galaxy S6 and the S6 edge in Iron Man versions.

The Korea Times states that Samsung has joined hands with Marvel to bring into action an all new Iron Man version which is going to arrive in this month or perhaps the next one. It still remains to be seen where Samsung is planning to launch the new versions. And the even bigger question is that who is going to purchase an Iron Man version? We are quite sure that a 10 year old wouldn’t have enough in his piggy bank.

Samsung is launching the two phones as part of an advertising campaign for the big action hero who was featured in the recently released Avengers: Age of Ultron movie. Both the versions will come in a gold and red color scheme which honestly isn’t too gaudy but it’s also not too low profile. The phones are not just getting special color schemes but will also have their own collection of Marvel-themed wallpapers, home screen icons and even ringtones.
