Sony has announced three new wireless speakers today.
Sony has taken the wraps off its latest wireless speakers today. The three models – the SRS-X9, SRS-X7, and SRS-X5 – are donning what Sony describes as a “Definitive Outline.” The geometric design consists of 12 outlines within its square body that reportedly produces the best sound wave.
Sony’s flagship wireless speaker is the SRS-X9, and it’s easy to see why. The SRS-X9 does in fact support high-resolution audio. That’s a green light for audiophiles. It also has a 154W output, a bi-amped subwoofer, dual-passive radiators, and a 2.1 channel system.
The SRS-X7 is the middle child. Although it looks similar to its flagship brother, a careful look will reveal its compact size. It also features a 2.1 channel system, a built-in rechargeable battery, a built-in subwoofer, and Wi-Fi/ Bluetooth/ USB support.
The youngest of the three is the SRS-X5. Perfect for “on the go” users, the speaker has a 20W power output, a built-in subwoofer, and dual-passive radiators.
Furthermore, all three models support Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC connectivities. Sony is now selling these wireless speakers online and via authorized dealers. The SRS-X9 costs $699.99, SRS-X7 for $299.99, and the SRS-X5 for $199.99.
