The 5.3 inch phone features LTE connectivity
Sony has unveiled “the slimmest 5.3-inch phone,” the Xperia T3 which is merely 7mm thick. It is not the thinnest phone which has ever existed but the effort is honestly quite impressive considering that it’s a mid-ranger. The phone might appear quite similar to the Xperia T2 Ultra in a lot of ways but is more compact. It pulls off a Triluminos IPS display with 720p resolution and the screen has an average 277ppi pixel density and Bravia Engine 2.
The traditional OmniBalance design has been used for the frame built; a metal frame that’s exposed on the sides. The back of the phone is in plastic and is offered in three color options of white, black or purple. The specs of the phone are also quite impressive for a mid ranger of this class. It features a 5.3″ display and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat on a Snapdragon chipset with a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU, 1GB of RAM and Adreno 305 graphics. There is 8 GB worth of built in storage which is expandable by microSD cards of up to 32GB. Other features include the usual 2G/3G, LTE Cat. 4 for up to 150Mbps download speeds, Wi-Fi with Miracast and DLNA, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and A-GPS.
