The company ensures pre order backups in European stores after stockouts and delays
Sony might be facing some problems for its new Xperia Z2 which is having trouble getting out of factories and moving on to the shelves. The pre orders have been launched once again on the UK website and the shipping time window has been listed by the company for the month of May. On the other hand, the stores in France, Spain and Poland have also started listing the device as being on pre order. As far as the retail in UK is concerned, the phone will sell off for £599.99 and along with the phone, Sony is offering a SRS-BTX300 NFC speaker for free.
Before any problems started to arrive at Sony regarding the Sony Xperia Z2, the phone was to be launched earlier in April but since the company is facing stock shortages and delays, the phone stock is available in limited quantities only. The phone seems to be facing a delay in its launcch though Sony is denying any such possibility and has stated that these problems wont lead to any disruptions in the supply chain.
Build issue and temporary loss of camera functionality are two reported problems on the Sony Xperia Z2. t.co/b8YT7hUKdK

The delay might also mean that the company will lose sales because tough competitors such as the HTC One (M8) and the Samsung Galaxy S5 are already on sale. And it is very much likely that whoever is looking for a new phone at this point will most likely turn to these other phones because Sony Xperia at the moment is not going to be available as an option.
