Sony might have just accidentally confirmed the existence of at least two devices, namely, the 8-inch Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and a yet to be named smartwatch, all thanks to an image posted on Sony’s Facebook page.
Samsung and LG aren’t the only companies worth covering at IFA 2014 in Berlin. Sony, another major manufacturer of consumer electronics, is expected to announce its slew of new devices. Based on the previous leaks, we are expecting a 5.2-inch Xperia Z3, a smaller 4.6-inch Xperia Z3 Compact, and a slate, dubbed the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.
Sony might have just accidentally confirmed the existence of at least two devices, namely, the 8-inch Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact and a yet to be named smartwatch, all thanks to an image posted on Sony’s Facebook page.
The image, seen above, is part of Sony’s promo slide for its SmartBand line-up. And judging from the water on the poolside, it looks like both devices are water-proof, a notable attribute of Sony. The watch, meanwhile, has a square design and is colored black.

LG also teased its smartwatch earlier today, but unlike Sony’s, it sports a rounded design. Details are limited, so we’d like to hold on to our emotions for a bit. We’ll see what Sony has in store for us next week at IFA. Stay tuned.
