Last night’s Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon had the first ever Shaggy Off. Announcer Steve Higgins does an incredible Shaggy impression. He challenged the real Shaggy in a rap battle.
In the end it turns out that the real Shaggy is the best Shaggy.
Shaggy, his real name is Orville Richard Burrell CD, is an Jamaican-born American reggae fusion singer. He is best known for his hit songs “Boombastic”, “It Wasn’t Me” and “Angel”.
Shaggy also revealed last night on the Tonight Show how he wrote “It Wasn’t Me.” He got inspired by watching Eddie Murphy stand-up.
Steve Higgins is an American writer, producer, announcer, actor, and comedian. He currently serves as the announcer of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and as a writer and producer of Saturday Night Live.
