The Taiwan Weather Bureau recorded two earthquakes and with one of them reaching 6.3 magnitude. Looks like Taiwan has better sensors in place in that region.

While there are no damage reports out of Japan, Taiwan suffered several incidents caused by the earthquake. Focus Taiwan reports of several injuries, fires and burst water pipelines.

Today’s earthquake marks the biggest of the year for Taiwan so far this year.
