The aluminum housing and the docking station will start as a project on Kickstarter in April

It seems as if all manufacturers had been waiting to leap at this opportunity and as soon as the Apple Watch was officially announced, it triggered a series of third party accessory announcements for the luxury watch everyone had been waiting for since last September. Some are focused more on usability while others are completely fashion oriented. Banded is one such leather strap for the apple Watch which provides a sturdy device along with a fashionable touch. It is designed using solid aluminum and the leather strap provides protection as well as a trendy look.

This gives a perfect opportunity to those who find the technology behind the Apple Watch very alluring but at the same time given the chances, they would most likely change something about its aesthetics. The Banded strap has a fashion sense and also keeps itself away from scratches and nicks and this is perhaps the first of its kind being a strap as well as a protective accessory for the watch.

It features an open top which gives users easy access to the Force Touch-enabled screen and the other tactile controls like the Digital Crown and multifunction button have been overlaid with precision cut aluminum parts. The cutout on the underside allows for access to the heart rate sensor and inductive charging module.

As we all know, the watch is water proof with IPX7 standard meaning that it could be submerged in water up to one-meter deep for as long as 30 minutes. Banded will initially begin as a startup project on Kickstarter next month.

Apart from this, we have another product for the Apple Watch called the Simple Station and from what we can see it appears to be a one stop shop for iPhone and Apple Watch charging and docking. The station has been fashioned out of solid aluminum and is ideal for desk or bedside charging. The stand makes use of the Apple cords to charge as well as sync the device and a phone slot supports iPhone 6, 6 Plus, 5s or 5. This is once again a Kickstarter project and will start next month.
