AeroMobil 3.0
Flying Cars are the dream of people stuck in traffic since decades. Here are three Flying Car projects that might become available soon
Are Flying Cars around the corner? There are several projects underway that try to make flying cars a reality. Flying cars could give people the convenience to make long distance trips in their own vehicle. Flying cars could also help avoid traffic jams. Problem is that flying a plane is not as easy as driving car. The European Union project MyCopter tries to tackle exactly that problem. The project tries to develop a personal transportation system that flies autonomous. Meaning the Flying car would be on auto pilot while flying.
There is also US based Terrafugia. The company developed the Transition vehicle. The Transition is a two-seat, fixed wing street legal aircraft that fits in a single car garage and is designed to be flown in and out of general aviation airports. It is a proof of concept. Terrafugia works on the TF-X concept. The TF-X is a four-place vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) hybrid electric vehicle that is designed to revolutionize personal travel as Terrafugia leads the creation of a new flying car industry.
Lastly there is Aeromobil from Slovakia. Stefan Klein has with the AeroMobil 3.0 the coolest Flying Car project going on right now. Klein is working since 20 years on the Flying car. The AeroMobil 3.0 will have its world premiere on October 29 in Vienna, Austria at the Pioneer’s festival. Watch a video of the curren AeroMobil 2.5 concept below.
