Miley Cyrus just knows what to share to make the net go wild. Her latest Instagram photo is 5 hours old and has already over 470,000 shares and 12,000 comments. The photo is risqué, but not that sexy. It still raised a ton of awareness. Miley’s fan base is just humongous. If you spend too much time in social media you might have fallen for a Miley Cyrus death hoax that spread on July 19th. Miley Cyrus has been nominated for an MTV Video Music Award for the Wrecking Ball video. The VMA 2014 will take place on August 24th.

Director J.J. Abrams has revealed an updated model of the legendary X-Wing fighter jet that is expected to debut in theaters next year. Star Wars: Episode VII takes us approximately 30 years after the Return of the Jedi, which explains the reprising roles of previous actors. It also explains the modern look of the iconic X-Wing. On the video, now posted on YouTube, Abrams is seen talking in front of a battle-scarred X-Wing that appears to have a slightly-modified design. Interestingly, we don’t see a droid co-pilot sitting behind the cockpit. Perhaps it is now embedded into the jet’s system? We don’t know for sure.

A gaming contest between the best players of the video game called Dota2 was probably the most profitable gaming contest in the world as it awarded a total prize money of $10.9 million to the participants. Valve, the developer of the famous Dota2 game, donated $1.6 million of the contest prize money. Other prize money was being donated by millions of game lovers who play this game online on a regular basis. The winner of this Dota2 gaming contest was the Chinese team NewBee that won $5 million in prize money. NewBee’s rival team was Vici Gaming that won $1.4 million as runner-up of the contest. Dota2 is an online PC game for teams of five players. This multiplayer game provides an online battle arena for two teams of five players each. 

Behati Prinsloo, the Victoria’s Secret angel has tied the knot with Adam Levine. The two said their marriage vows in a tent in a very romantic manner in Los Cabos, Mexico. Instead of gifts the guests brought along charity donations. Behati Prinsloo’s fellow female models acted as her bridesmaids, Adam’s Maroon 5 band mates were there and one of them even performed for the wedding celebrations.

Beyonce shared on Instagram the highly anticipated Fifty Shades of Grey Trailer that is supposed to be released on Thursday. Why Beyonce? She is reportedly involved in the Fifty Shades soundtrack. In the teaser her song Crazy in Love gets briefly featured in a heavily remixed version. The movie is scheduled to be in theaters on Valentine’s Day 2015. Fifty Shades of Grey is based on the best-selling novel by E.L. James. The movie stars Jamie Doran as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.
