The situation in Ferguson has escalated and breaking reports say that two Police officers have been shot.
The situation in Ferguson has reached a new extreme in the early morning hours of Thursday. The St. Louis County Police Department just tweeted that two St. Louis County police officers were shot outside the Ferguson Police department shortly after midnight.

A celebration of the resignation of the Ferguson Police Chief on Wednesday turned into a violence that escalated to gunfire. There are no clear details on who shot and why. Policemen aimed hand guns at protestors and the press is in the midst of it.
The condition of the shot police man has just been updated by local police according to CNN. One has been shot in the shoulder and the other in the face. Both are conscious.
The St. Louis County Police Department along others have sent men to Ferguson in the anticipation of demonstrations after the Police Chief has resigned. Chief Jackson has resigned in a mutual agreement with Ferguson officials. He will get a severance package of one year.
