  • Vanessa Hudgens spills the beans about helping Selena Gomez avoid Justin Bieber on the Met Gala

Vanessa Hudgens revealed that she helped Selena keep busy because no one wants to see their ex boyfriend but there was no special strategy to avoid him.

There was a rumor going around that Selena Gomez avoided Justin Bieber at the Met Gala. Sources said that she was helped by Vanessa Hudgens to avoid the young singer at the whole event.

She was talking on the Watch What Happens Live show with Andy Cohen about her Broadway play Gigi when a viewer asked Vanessa Hudgens, “Is it true that you helped Selena Gomez avoid Justin Bieber at the Met Ball?” . Accompanying her in the interview was Kellan Lutz.

Andy urged Vanessa to reveal whether she had helped Selena avoid Justin and at first Vanessa seemed reluctant to impart any kind of information but Andy and Kellan kept persuading her and Vanessa gave in.

She said that there was no special intent or plan to avoid Justin. She and Selena are best of friends and it is completely understandable that no one wants to see their ex boyfriend. She and Selena hung out and didn’t really care what else was happening.

She said that she sat with Janelle Monae and Bangz, and called them talented people with great souls and she was glad to have been sitting with them. She also called Rihanna ‘great’.

Most guests attended Rihanna’s after party at the Up & Down including Selena and Justin and both hung and danced with their own friends. It was Justin who sparked the rumors by giving out a shoutout to the paparazzi about Selena looking amazing at the Gala as he drove off.
