Billy Joel expecting Second Baby Girl at 65

Billy Joel and girlfriend Alexis Roderick are expecting their first child together this summer. It will be a second daughter for Billy who already has a 29 year old singer daughter, Alexa Ray.

Grammy award winning singer Billy Joel is expecting his second child with girlfriend Alexis Roderick. Billy and Alexis have been together since 2009. The couple confirmed the pregnancy most recently. Although the details remain under wraps until the baby is born. Alexis did reveal that it was going to be a girl. 

Billy Joel’s spokeswoman said in his statement to PageSix that “Billy Joel and his girlfriend, Alexis Roderick, are expecting their first child this summer. The singer has one daughter, singer/songwriter Alexa Ray Joel. The couple, together since 2009, opted to keep any further details of her pregnancy under wraps until their new addition makes an official debut.”

This would be the singer’s second child at the age of 65. He is father to singer/songwriter and musician, Alexa Ray Joel whom he had with his ex-wife, Christie Brinkley. Billy was married and divorced thrice before he met Alexis.

Alexis worked as a risk assessment officer for Morgan Stanley and they met at a restaurant. Alexis has admitted that they were friends for a while before they started dating. They have been together since 2009 but have expressed no prior wish to get married. Alexis was however seen wearing a diamond ring that many are speculating over.

Sources tell that Billy is very excited to be a father again and Alexis is also excited to be having her first baby with Billy.
