Ebola might have been transmitted for the first time in the United States. CNN reports that a Texas Healthcare worker, who helped taking care of Thomas Eric Duncan tested positive for Ebola in preliminary tests. Mr. Duncan died on Wednesday. He was the first person diagnosed with Ebola in the United States. He contracted it on a trip to Africa.
The CDC (Center for Disease Control) is doing confirmatory tests. If it is confirmed, it sheds a really bad light on how the hospital is taking precautions to keep its workers save.

According to a recent WHO report, over 3,000 people have already died in this Ebola outbreak. Over 6,500 people are infected. These numbers are for the African countries Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.
