Victoria Beckham is not only a super model but also a very good human being.

Victoria Beckham is an inspiring socialite. In the past few years the most influential people belonging to the world of glamour have come forward to serve the less privileged. They serve people in the best possible manner to take the degree of compassion to another level. Among them the most recent is Victoria Becham

She has announced her association with the UN in the capacity of International Goodwill Ambassador. She has even joined the famous EJAF (The Elton John AIDS Foundation). AIDS being fatal, and the fastest growing disease in the Western World, has infected many babies. This organization works for removing the virus from babies while they are still in the womb of the infected mother.

During her visit to South Africa she came across some very tragic stories of people which gave her a chance to realize her position and role as a woman. She says that it took her 40 years to recognize that she is needed by those with a lesser prerogative.

She talked to the women in the clinic about the awareness of HIV. She even discussed the measures that can be taken for protecting the babies from HIV. Words of commendation about the services of EJAF came out when she tweeted about it. She wrote, “In the last 3 years, EJAF has helped over 60,000 mothers give birth to HIV free babies”.

The purity of her intentions can be seen when she missed the opening of her fashion store in London. She said that she realizes that she was needed there but as a social worker her responsibility towards woman’s health is more important than a public gathering.

EJAF has even set its goal. It aims to decrease the rate of HIV by 50% till 2015. Victoria Becham made her visit to Capetown, New York, South Africa and many other places where she consoled the mothers infected with this virus and gave them hope that their babies will be born free of any virus.

She even sold 600 items from her wardrobe just to contribute for the good cause. We should encourage such acts. In my opinion this is very remarkable and a truly humane act. To serve humanity in best possible manner is the least we can do.
