The Super Bowl 2014 takes place on February 2, and will have the Broncos play against the Seahawks in the Big Game. Besides the game there will be again a huge line-up of Super Bowl ads. Fox managed to charge $4 million on average for 30 second spots. A surprise new entry in our Super Bowl 2014 Ad Line-up is WeatherTech. The purchase of the ad time by WeatherTech represents a size-able marketing investment for the Bolingbrook, Illinois based manufacturer and distributor of automotive accessories. The company known for their revolutionary DigitalFit FloorLiner automotive floor mats, which are sold worldwide, is using the ad time to further increase the brand awareness and reinforce their Made in America business philosophy.

“We have been thinking about buying ad time during the Super Bowl for the past three years,” David MacNeil, founder and CEO of WeatherTech said. “With our confidence in the improving economy and the reach of over 111 million viewers that the Super Bowl coverage provides, we thought it was the right time to make the investment. It is a big outlay for our company, but we are looking at as an investment in our brand as well as in the future of our employees and their families. The huge Super Bowl audience was the deciding factor for us to make such a large marketing commitment.”

I think it is going to shock a lot of people watching in their living rooms and bars around the world.”
