The Wix.com Super Bowl 2015 Ad is the first Super Bowl Ad for the Israeli based website platform. The cost for the Super Bowl ad is a considerable junk from their revenues. It is though likely paying off for them as they follow the footsteps of competitor SquareSpace, who advertised for the first time last year and is coming back again this year. The comeback is a clear sign that advertising in the Super Bowl pays off for web site hosting and building companies.

Wix.com has launched an elaborate online campaign to make the most out of their Super Bowl investment. The campaign is very smart and ties in perfectly with the Wix.com service offering. Wix.com hired 5 former NFL stars and gave them a new career as small business owners. Brett Favre, Terrell Owens, Emmitt Smith, Larry Allen and Franco Harris find themselves owning a charcuterie, pie store or wedding planning service.

For each of the NFL star owned businesses Wix.com set up a website. Now they even have applied the fake brands to support the Newcastle Brown Ale Band of Brands fake Super Bowl ad campaign. If something real will come out of the fake brand meets fake campaign remains to be seen.

Wix.com did not stop at the five former NFL stars. In a new very funny video they feature actor Rex Lee from Entourage fame to teach Brett Favre how to pronounce charcuterie.
