ZTE unveiled its the next generation smart projector Spro 2 at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show.
ZTE has launched its next-gen smart projector at CES 2015. Titled ‘Spro 2,’ this smart projector has an Android touch screen interface with full access to the Google Play store.
ZTE USA is the 4th largest smartphone maker in the United States while it is the 2nd largest non-contract smartphone manufacturer. ZTE had launched its very first smart projector last year at CES 2014. And this year, ZTE again chooses the CES event to launch its next generation Spro 2 smart projector.
ZTE Spro 2 is the very first portable Android projector that is able to stream media content using Google Play apps, micro SD card, USB stick or via HDMI cable or WiFi connections for devices such as game consoles or laptops.
ZTE USA chairman and CEO, Lixin Cheng, stated that the company has updated and improved Spro 2’s consumer experience on basis of consumer insights and reviews of ZTE Spro. Now the ZTE’s next-gen Spro 2 increases the practicality of purchasing a mobile projector, hotspot or media streaming device. And he also said the ZTE will continue pioneering this category in this year.
ZTE Spro 2 is actually the very first smart projector that comes with auto focus and auto keystone features. Its short throw ratio is exceptional. ZTE Spro 2 has a native resolution of 1280 x 720. This smart projector is able to project HD images up to 120-inches with a brightness of 200 lumens.
ZTE Spro 2 also works as a mobile hotspot. And when this projector is working as a mobile hotspot, it is able to work with 8 devices using 4G LTE networks. The Spro 2 can also be used as a mobile media streaming device. And the company said that it will work as the best mobile media streaming device in comparison with any other projector turned into mobile media streaming device currently available in the market.
ZTE Spro 2 portable Android projector is able to provide upto 3 hours of media streaming due to its large 6300 mAh lithium ion battery. And the ZTE Spro 2 projector is also very slim and smart. Its dimensions are only 5.1 x 5.2 x 1.5 inches. So you can easily carry ZTE Spro 2 smart projector in your bag or briefcase.
ZTE Spro 2 will be available for sale via major US wireless carriers in early 2015. But you can see this first portable Android all-in-one pico projector at CES 2015.
