The Audi A3 has a body to die for and goes like a breeze. It is a creatively constructed car, alright! And it covered a long journey and won against a competitor vehicle.

It was a very plain sort of test which the Audi A3 underwent. A long road trip from New Mexico to California covered on a single fuel economy of diesel was the goal. Now the distance which amounted to more than 800 miles presented a stiff challenge indeed.

The car accomplished the impossible although not without a few hitches in the last few miles of the arduous trip. The man in charge of putting the vehicle’s nose to the grindstone was a regular expert in cross country driving. An adept at saving up on mileage, he still had a difficult time converting an unaccomplished goal into a solid reality and undisputed fact.

But there you have it: the proof of the pudding lies in the eating! The A3 is a finely-fueled force of nature. It possesses a 150 horsepower engine with four active cylinders. The six speed gearshift allows easy transferring of changes velocity-wise on the open road.

This car goes like a speed demon both on and off the highway. The driver can fill the tank up with 13.2 gallons of very burnable diesel that will last a long time. It is a big and comfortable car with the features that lend access to macho maneuverability and the mightiest mechanics.

And the fact that it uses every drop of oil means that the car is a star among other jalopies. The race between competitors that took place that fateful day when the Audi A3 was compared on a road trip with a Ford Aspire will always remain etched within the minds of the spectators.

Several tricks of the trade got employed by the driver of the Audi A3 in order to make it do its job of completing the journey. And they were spot on. The minute by minute and hour by hour progress of the wonder-vehicle through the rough terrain was duly noted as it came closer to its destination.

There were some pretty interesting sights along the way but finally when the car along with its driver made it to the finish line, a sigh of relief emerged from the members of the crowd that was assembled to observe this feat of mechanical and technological endurance.
