Everywhere in the world, gold has been related to luxury and the same goes for the mobile market where some of the luxury phones have their own gold versions; whether it’s just the color or the real deal. The trend of having gold versions for the smartphones has considerably increased over the past few years and the ones which recently hopped onto this bandwagon were Microsoft’s Lumia 930 and Lumia 830 which were announced just a few days back. However, just like we mentioned earlier, these are only based on the gold ‘color’.

Each year we have glorious versions of the models of iPhone all coated in expensive metals and stones for those who want the ultimate luxury experience. We had all been looking forward to what companies would end up doing with the iPhone 6 and here is the most luxurious version of our favorite phone which is coming from the Chinese company NavJack.

The company has announced limited editions of this gold plated version of the iPhone 6 and the 6 Plus and we are talking about REAL GOLD here – plated with 24k gold. For increased exclusivity, the back of the phone has been adorned with a carbon fiber-like finish which can also be seen in the images. As if the addition of real gold wasn’t enough, NavJack is also adding in one layer of Gorilla Glass 3 to the front panel of the phone.

Though they haven’t revealed the exact objective of doing this, we are assuming it adds to the drop and scratch resistance of the phone. And for those interested in this luxurious version of an already luxury phone, there is an additional attractive feature in the face of a special packaging which is nothing like the usual boxes you get with your usual iPhones.
