According to Adobe, Cyber Monday 2014 had a sales volume of $2.65 billion, which is an increase of 16% compared to last year. Black Friday 2014 had an online sales volume of $2.4 billion, which is an increase of 24%. Thanksgiving Day pulled in $1.33 billion in online sales which is an increase of 25%. Thanksgiving Day and Black Friday have already beaten Cyber Monday in 2014 when added up. 

In any case for consumers the big take away is to shop at least all of the three major days as the deals are very different that are offered in Black Friday sales and Cyber Monday sales. The dramatic bargains and doorbusters are what Black Friday sales are all about. Cyber Monday offers deals on mid-range to high-end products and also brings back many Black Friday deals.
