BMW brings the idea of super-efficient OLED tail lights

Tail lights seem to be the most important feature of any car and there are so many ways in which these tail lights can be made to look even better and better but still many seem to be satisfied with the way their cars appear to be. The tail light is the single most important element which determines the overall design of the back of the car and this is why BMW wants to add a tinge of excitement to it. They are certainly tired of the typical clunky designs and now is the time for them to bring about its OLED-based Organic Light technology.

This new light technology will give away extra-thin, uniformly lit strips which are going to ensure that the tail lights are easier to spot without any refelectors (which are an important part of all tail lights on cars) and these will also use merely a fraction of power from the existing system. They are not only going to be efficient but they are going to give the car an exotic look altogether. The best part is that BMW can cut the OLEDs into any 2D shape it likes, and it’s planning both flexible and 3D lights in the future.
