More iPhone 6 rumors swirl
Rumors are continuing to swirl that the iPhone 6 will come in two screen sizes reports Apple Insider. The rumors have been circulating for months now that the smartphone will launch in September in two different models. Considering how poor the sales are for the iPhone 5C, I have to wonder what would make Apple want to try and get to popular models again.
The latest rumor claims that in support of the launch of two models, suppliers in East Asia are manufacturing sensors and other display parts for the smartphones already. The latest rumors also suggest that the iPhone 6 will have a display of over 5-inches. Android devices have left the iPhone behind when it comes to screen sizes and many iPhone fans are clamoring for a larger screen.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kup for KGI Securities has been accurate in the past with Apple rumors and claims sources say that Apple won’t move past 5-inches for iPhone screens. The reason according to the analyst is that the iPhone needs to be easily usable with one hand.
Reports indicate that there might be several suppliers making screens for the iPhone 6, including Sharp, Japan Display, and LG. The screen is said to have a resolution significantly higher than the 326 ppi that the iPhone offers currently. Other rumors suggest that the next iPhone will take on the same design as the iPad mini with a minimal bezel. One of the stranger rumors suggests that the camera will be upgraded to a 10MP unit that has interchangeable lenses.
