Katey Sagal joins cast of Pitch Perfect 2

The cast of Pitch Perfect 2 is going to welcome Katey Sagal from “Sons of Anarchy” according to the official announcement made by Director Elizabeth Banks on her website and it read something like “The fantastic Katey Sagal has joined our #PitchPerfect 2 fam as Hailee Steinfeld’s mom. Are we fangirling yet?”

We not only know and appreciate Katey Sagal because of her acting skills but she also has a strong hold on her vocal skills. Bette Midler and Bob Dylan got the backup sung by Sagal and then the “Sons of Anarchy” is a good platform for her voice where we keep her songs every now and then. So it is most likely that the Pitch Perfect sequel is also going to receive some tunes from her.

It has been a while since the Steinfeld’s casting was announced last month and still we are not briefed on the role which Sagal will be playing. Though her role is not out publicly as yet but we are sure that she will be playing Barden Bella and it wasn’t difficult to find this out after the tweets sent out form the “Pitch Perfect” Twitter account. Some of the stars from the original one are also coming back to the sequel including Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow.
