Meet the newest super cat. As reported a surveillance video shows a cat saving a boy from being mauled by a dog. Watch the amazing scene below and read about the latest news about Tara the cat.
As reported yesterday, there is a new hero cat everybody is talking about. Tara the cat can be seen in a home surveillance video from Bakersfield saving a 4-year old boy from being mauled by a dog.
The video shows a dog attacking a boy riding his tricycle in a driveway for no reason. He bits into his leg. At this point Tara the cat comes charging at the dog and attacks him to scare him away. Watch the dramatic scene below. This action is really very unusual for a cat and only 24 hours later Tara the cat is known around the world for its heroism. Tara has been offered magazine covers and interviews. This sunday Tara will throw the first pitch for the Bakersfield Blaze. I am not sure Tara is amused about this.
The 23 ABC Kero Bakersfield has the full report.
Update: Tara the Hero Cat and family will throw out the first pitch on Tuesday, /4/20th, and BOGO offer for fans donating animal food/toy!— Bakersfield Blaze (@BakoBlaze) /4/16, 2014
