One of the killer features of the device is going to be the battery which the company claims is going to last for 2 days without charge
With Samsung and Google on the run for the smartphone market, Apple, wasn’t going to stay behind and its foot into the smartphone segment is soon going to be set in this year. Microsoft however also has plans for this marker and according to what we have heard it is coming up with its own line of wearables. We saw a few patent filings on this idea but a recent report has brought us some fresh details.
Forbes tells us that the inaugural smartwatch effort by Microsoft is going to be compatible with both iOS and Android along with the Windows Phone operating system of course. Just like most of the smartwatches out there, this one too is going to be equipped with sensors which will monitor the user’s heart rate. One of the most prominent features however is going to the battery which according to the company is going to last for a good two days without a charge. Though Microsoft is arriving late on this platform, it is coming with a bang; making all the corrections and learning from the mistakes of its rivals.
There are rumors that the device might dawn upon us this very summer but we are all thinking that this is too soon. It would have made much more sense if we had heard something about the smartwatch at the annual BUILD conference.
