The folks at New Matter are looking to simplify the process so that anyone can output the items they desire

As the 3D printing is falling under the mainstream, so is its pricing and we knew that one day or another, this phenomenon would start becoming affordable. And now we are seeing yet another promotional campaign from New Matter. Their basic aim is to simplify the process a bit so that it can be used by the general people and they can print the desired products.

For this purpose, they’ve built the MOD-t. Aside from the clear enclosure for easy viewing and dapper industrial design, the software component is where the ease of use really shines. A special UI has been developed with some help from Frog and together it all allows quick design downloading along with the required tweaks here and there.

“At the end of the day, we wanted to be a 3D printing experience that is meaningful to the way that you currently approach communicating with the people in your life. Create relationships, not just objects,” says Frog designer Christine Todorovich.
