It costs CNY 2,800 or about €330, which is almost twice the Samsung Gear Live price in the country of CNY 1,500 or €175.
All those who are anxiously waiting for the Moto 360 smartwatch would be a bit disappointed to learn that their favorite wearable from Motorola might cost them twice as much the competing Samsung Galaxy Gear which is powered by the Android Gear OS. The Moto 360 is already listed for pre order by a Chinese retailer and in China the smartwatch is going to cost CNY 2,800 which is about €330 and this really is twice as expensive as compared to the CNY 1,500 Samsung Gear Live in China.
It wont be wrong to say that the Moto 360 is highly anticipated and has become quite popular over the course of all its leaks and updates. It is a premium smartwatch and it stands apart from the rest because of its circular design and display which is a pleasant change from all other typical designs in the market. And because it is a ‘premium’ gadget, we all know that the double price charged is not at all unreasonable and the price listing in China shouldn’t have come as a surprise to many.
However, we still haven’t heard anything on the official pricing from Motorola and so we cannot say whether the price listed by the retailer is anywhere close to the original one or not.
