Melissa Rivers thanks all Well-Wishers of Joan Rivers

The daughter of Joan Rivers, Melissa Rivers has offered profuse thanks to all her mother’s well-wishers. Joan is currently hooked up to a life support machine in the hospital with her whole family beside her.

Joan Rivers’ daughter, Melissa, has paid the utmost regards to those friends and fans who are praying for the health and convalescence of her mother. 

Joan, who is in the midst of a life and death fight right now, was a talk show host famous for her no-nonsense and straightforward views on all matters controversial. 

She would speak on matters without any blinders or the hypocritical filters added as an adjunct by society. Melissa, who is right now besides her mother’s bed said that Joan was teetering between this world and the next. 

“On behalf of my mother and our family, we are extremely grateful for all the love and support we’ve received,” Melissa Rivers said in a statement, obtained by E! News. “At this time she does remain on life support.”

“I know my mother would be overwhelmed by the continued outpouring of kindness and I want to thank everyone for keeping us in their prayers.”

She urged everybody from celebs to fans to pray for her quick and speedy recovery from this illness. The star is 81 years of age and yet she was enjoying a meal with friends a few days back before a throat issue forced her to undergo surgery. 

It was during this invasive procedure that she went into a coma from which she has yet to recover. Melissa spoke of how she was inundated by “Get Well” cards and thousands of messages from concerned people whose prayers were with the aging and ailing Joan. 

She furthermore said that her mother would be beyond ecstatic were she to know about all the love and good wishes that she had received from all over the United States. 

“We will not be producing a Fashion Police this week or next as we await Joan and Melissa’s return in front and behind the camera,” the network said in a statement today. “E! will be airing two E! From Fashion Week specials that will deliver the latest news and information from the highly-anticipated event.”

Melissa, along with her son Cooper, arrived on the first flight to be by her mother’s bedside when she entered into a comatose state. There have been rumors that Melissa was considering suing the hell out of the clinic that had botched her mother’s throat surgery. 

But sources close to her have denied the veracity of these rumors. They claim that Melissa is 100% into looking after her mother as she remains in an unconscious state. 

“She is calmer than I’ve ever seen her,” a source told E! News earlier this week. “All these reports about doomsday are not true. She is her mother’s daughter and she’s tough as nails. She’s the person keeping everyone together.”

As for the TV show Fashion Police she was appearing in, which was titled Fashion Police, its production has been halted in honor of Joan. Joan Rivers was a tough cookie in real life. We all pray that she will make it alive out of the struggle she is currently facing.
