This is just in. Oscar Pistorius has been found guilty of culpable homicide. The verdict delivery in one of the most high profile murder cases in recent memory has started yesterday. Olympic star Oscar Pistorius is accused of murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp over a year ago.

Judge Thokozile Masipa has started to deliver the verdict. The problem is that i could take her two days to deliver the verdict in this complicated case.

Sentencing of Oscar Pistorius takes place on October 13.

Today the judge said that Pistorius acted too hastily and used excessive force when he shot into toilet door, killing Reeva Steenkamp. Judge Thokozile Masipa cleared Pistorius of murder yesterday. This means Pistorius could receive a sentence ranginng from 15 years in prison to a suspended sentence says the The Guardian.

Reeva Steenkamp was killed in Oscar Pistorius residence in Pretoria, South Africa, in 2013. The incident happened on Valentine’s Day. Pistorius claims he was firing what he believed was an intruder and not his girlfriend.
