Brittany Kerr and Jason Aldean: Is the Affair still on?

Jason Aldean has said that the once-upon-a-time affair between him and American Idol starlet, Brittany Kerr, was a thing of the past and that people especially the media needed to stop pestering him over it. 

“It has been two years of this s–t—get over it, already!” Jason explained in this week’s issue of Billboard.

All the hype and scandal that the affair generated led to quite some negative publicity for both Brittany Kerr and Jason Aldean.

According to the country musician, it was about time the public buried this defunct issue once and for all. It was like they were flogging a dead horse. 

“And then when I finally go get enough of it and say something, every newspaper grabs it. And I’m not trying to get in the headlines—I’m just trying to get people to stop running their mouths,” he said.

Since the past two years or so, he had been hounded by all the rumors that were rife concerning him and his paramour. Their affair began when he had had too much alcohol and started kissing the starlet at a party. 

Since Aldean was a family man, this caused quite some disruption in his domestic life. He later on apologized to his fans, friends and family online by saying that he was sorry and that he had really mucked up the situation. 

“I ultimately ended up embarrassing my family and myself. I’m not perfect, and I’m sorry for disappointing you guys. I really appreciate being able to work through this privately with my family and for all your continued support,” Jason said.

Aldean was contrite over what had occurred in a moment of unconsciousness. He later on tried to make it up to his wife. The two began working intensively on their marital life together. 

“We’re tryin’ to move on, that’s the biggest thing. And, hopefully, people will allow us the privacy to do that—and that’s kinda it,” he told E! News.

It was the utmost effort he and his wife were making to move past this glitch that had occurred in their relationship. However, things didn’t work out and almost a year ago they split up. 

The unfortunate thing is that they have two kids. The children will probably take the separation in a negative way. Aldean normally confers with his buddy Luke Bryan to keep him grounded. His pal doesn’t allow Aldean to go soft in the head. 

Meanwhile, Aldean is truly sick of the media’s wolfish nature in connection with celebs. He said that he liked to speak the truth and when he saw such false things being written about him everywhere it made his blood boil. He was his own man and what he did in private was nobody’s business.
