Tiger Woods to Coach Himself
At last Tiger Woods has decided to be his own coach. Acoording to Chicago Tribune, Tiger stated that swinging is not rocket science and so he can use the experience that he already has. This comes after the golfer parted ways with his coach, Sean Foley. Though Tiger had initially expressed his desire of getting a new coach, he seems to have changed his mind.
Tiger said that his health comes first because it’s only when he is healthy that he can move ahead with other plans. The golfer said he would consult his former schoolmate and friend,Notah Begay III on the matter. Woods went through the same ordeal in 2010 when he was left alone following the exit of Hank Haney. However, it did not take long before Tiger brought Sean Foley.
This time round, Tiger is relying on the use of videos for his swing sessions. Perhaps the champion learnt a lesson following his poor performance in the WGC-Bridgestone invitational. He had won the previous tournaments 8 times only for him to lose in the absence of his coach.
His fans are eagerly waiting for him to hire a new coach. The golfer will prove himself after performing in the World Challenge that is set to take place in December. Woods has been avoiding golf clubs to buy time to regain his health.
