According to the latest supply chain-originated rumor, the iWatch will go into mass production sometime in January 2015.
Apple Watch Mass Production Rumored To Start In January
A lot of posts have been dedicated to the upcoming Apple iWatch which followed the official announcement of the gadget. Before this engagement there had been various rumors and leaks too, most of which were put to rest after Apple took the reins on its September event. However, Apple made no indication of when it would be launching the iWatch and we have left this to the analysts who are claiming that the watch is most likely going to be launched in the fourth quarter of this year. But the device was launched on the 9th of September which means that the Apple enthusiasts will have to wait until sometime next year to get their hands on one.
It has been years since we have been hearing about the iWatch and its development has taken quite some time which can be explained by the importance of this project which required a lot of efforts on the company’s parts. A lot of investment, study, trial and error has been put into the development stages of the watch and according to what Apple thinks it has been pushing the industrys limits. Though Apple hasn’t shared any official details regarding the launch date of the device, it appears that they have given us some information regarding when the gadget is expected to enter into mass production.
According to some rumors which we followed in the mid of this year, the iWatch was scheduled to have entered the mass production stage already at this time but this doesn’t seem to hold the truth at all. Apple has said that the iWatch is going to be up for sale in 2015 and if there had been any mass production, the device would have leaked tremendously and this is definitely not happening. So the question still remains as to when the watch enters mass production and we’re here to give you the answer. According to what we have learnt from the latest supply chain-originated rumor, the device will enter its mass production mode in January next year.
This latest report on the iWatch also states that the job for the assembling of the gadget will only be handled by one Taiwan based manufacturer, Quanta Computer. This is again contrary to the earlier rumors which said that both Quanta and Inventec will handle this task for Apple. It might be possible that Apple was putting both these companies under consideration but eventually dropped out Inventec. The Quanta company, on the other hand, has been approved by Apple and they have already started making the necessary preparations.
