Stephen Collins Scandal axed him from ‘Scandal’

According to the lawyer of the 7th Heaven star, Stephen Collins, his wife tried to get an alibi to lie in their divorce proceedings. Collins has been accused of sexually abusing many young girls. His wife Faye Grant ostensibly commanded an alibi to tell the judge that she witnessed Collins assaulting a girl.

The nation was traumatized and stunned yesterday when they heard a recording from a marriage therapy session held between Grant and Collins.  The recording was released by TMZ and in the recording the actor is admitting that he has exposed himself to at minimum three young girls. 

According to Collins the young girls were between the ages of 10 and 13. Although Collins did have some advance warning regarding the release of the tape, but there was very little he could do. On Monday before the release of the tapes he was photographed at New York’s JFK airport where he was talking nervously to someone on the phone. 

According to sources, the couple is fighting over more than $14 million in their divorce proceedings. Mark Vincent Kaplan, Collins’ lawyer says that Grant has been trying to sell these tapes for almost a year now in order to get more alimony. 

The assets detailed in the divorce papers are: Collins’ $16,000 Rolex, his $100,000 vintage guitar collection, $40,000 in artworks and $5 million in property. Collins’ attorney claims that Grant has been able to rack up to $40,000 credit card bills every month. 

According to Grant, she is not the one who released the tapes. So she gave those tapes to law enforcement two years back right after the therapy session. To add fuel to the fire, Grant also said that Collins used to have incestuous thoughts regarding their unborn daughter. 

Although the world has come out against Collins, but his onscreen wife Catherine Hicks has come to his defense. She says that she has known Collins for many years now and they both have been working with many underage children. Yet she never had the feeling that he was a molester.
