The First Lady Twitter
The First Lady, Michelle Obama recently appeared on Vine in order to promote her vegetable produce campaign. And her turnip dance video goes viral on the internet.
The six second long mini application titled Vine was the platform employed by Michelle Obama for the purpose of spreading the word on her fresh produce movement.
A very vocal campaigner for eating fresh, healthy and natural foodstuff, Michelle has also spearheaded America’s Campaign to Eradicate Childhood Obesity. Michelle even has a vegetable patch in the White House.

She is a woman who likes to stay active and can get her act together in order to groove as well. She had a turnip in one hand in the six second Vine video clip and was heard saying the sound byte “Turnip for what?” during the brief duration of the visual.
Hey, @Alphacat. The First Lady wants to know… #TurnipForWhat? https://t.co/WL7jCellbC #AskTheFirstLady #TD4W— The First Lady (@FLOTUS) October 15, 2014
It was actually a wordplay spinoff of a song titled “Turn Down for What”. By the way, the song had quite a long shelf life in the capacity of a voter fillip for election time registration.
The hilarious yet short video was in fact a rejoinder to an imitator of President Obama who asked the First Lady on the app how many calories she burned up when she came on the scene.

In a way, this was a quick and abrupt way of ending the wisecrack who had said those words. Michelle proved that she was just as shrewd and clever not to mention witty an individual as the leader of the Free World.
The youth of the nation can only be reached via this method. And Michelle has appeal as a very sane and well-mannered First Lady. The fact that she decided to appear in tandem with a turnip shows that everything is grist for the mill as far as getting elected is concerned.
Hi @Astro_Wheels! FLOTUS might not be trying to get citrus in space , but here’s her favorite fall veggie. https://t.co/XTZapxJfZi— The First Lady (@FLOTUS) October 15, 2014
The First Lady is on a roll alright and we will just have to wait and see what she has planned for her next move. For now at least, no such songs exist which match in their rhyming scheme with a vegetable. So Michelle will have to choose some other ploy instead of the one where she has a turnip in one hand and utters a pithy catchphrase.
