Apple Likely Planning October 24 Launch Date for New iPads

Apple’s much talked about October media event is right on the horizon now and from what we have heard we can safely say that the company has already begun shipping mass quantities of new product into the U.S. and the preparations have been going on in full swing for Friday, October 24 availability date. All this has been confirmed from an inside source that has provided accurate information to MacRumors in the past.

However, the source wasn’t able to specify exactly which product has been shipped but we can bet our money on the upcoming iPad. Now this is could be the iPad Air 2 or the Retina iPad mini 2, or both. Apple is most likely going to stick with its usual strategy for the timings which is usually a week after the production.

We are used to having little stretches of time between Apple announcements and launches since the company usually provides within a short period of the unveiling. This however excludes the products which fall into the main category such as the iWatch or those which have been facing certain production constraints. Taking estimates from the shipping date and everything else, it would be safe to suggest that Apple likely will announce its new iPad Air 2 andpossibly an updated Retina iPad mini on Thursday with a target launch date of October 24.
