Nissan won’t confirm if the cool Nismo version is coming or the boring Freeflow version
One of the most exciting concept cars that has turned up in a long time for fans of small RWD cars was the Nissan IDx Freeflow and IDx Nismo. the IDx Freeflow surfaced in a boring grandma mobile with beige color and the very exciting IDx Nismo version.
Nissan has confirmed today that the rear wheel drive IDx will go into production reports Jalopnik. Sadly, the automaker didn’t confirm which would enter production. The more boring of the two is the IDx Freeflow that looks like any other boring car Nissan makes.
Nissan isn’t ruling out making both cars, and that is good news. Nissan needs a good sports car, the GT-R is out of the reach of normal folks thanks to its price and the 370Z is a car that simply isn’t good enough for its price range by many standards. Keep this thing cheap, make it perform, and Nissan could have a nice BR-Z fighter on its hands. Nissan is looking at 2016 or so for the car to come to market.
