Don’t forget Daylight Saving Time ended November 2nd, at 2:00 AM.
The senseless Daylight Saving Time has ended officially at November 2nd, at 2:00 AM in the United States. Europe already turned their clocks back last weekend. The Daylight Saving Time starts again on March 8, 2015. Daylight Saving Time is one of these things that everybody knows that it does not make sense anymore and there are even studies proofing that, but we still keep it.
Apparently there is no money or political gain in stepping up to the plate and kill Daylight Saving Time. Why is it bad? If you have small kids you know why? If you have a sensible sleep pattern you know it too.
Additionally many countries and even several US states do not have Daylight Savings Time. It is a global time mess. See here. You can only comfort yourself that you can sleep an hour longer today, Sunday, Nov. 2.
#DaylightSavingTime is the top trending hashtag on Twitter right now. Most Tweets are about the happiness about the extra hour sleep.

The only thing good about #DaylightSavingTime is an extra hour of sleep. Other than that, I despise that it gets darker sooner. — Hilly Hindi (@HillyHindi) November 2, 2014
