The rumors are true. Kmart has just announced that the Kmart Black Friday 2014 sale will already start at 6am on Thanksgiving Day morning.
The Kmart Black Friday 2014 Sale starts 6am Thanksgiving Day. Reports back in October said that Kmart would open at 8am. Now it is even earlier. What are they thinking? Kmart will be open for 42 hours straight, from 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving to midnight on Black Friday. The Kmart Black Friday 2014 Ad needs to be really good to get shoppers out of bed on Thanksgiving Day morning before 6am. On the other hand, Kmart also opened their stores forlast year’s Black Friday sale at 6am.
I assume there have been enough Black Friday shoppers that should up that early to do it again.
Kmart will reveal the Kmart Black Friday 2014 ad earlier for Shop Your Way card members online. I assume by mid-November you will know if you want to get up really early on Thanksgiving Day. So far the Kmart Black Friday 2014 is the earliest to start on Thanksgiving Day. Most Black Friday 2014 sales will start at 6pm in the evening on Thanksgiving Day. We already so some stores that start on Wednesday, but will close again before opening somewhen on Thanksgiving Day to continue their Black Friday sale.
