Asus Android Wear ZenWatch will be Available Tomorrow at Best Buy for $199

Asus ZenWatch is a stylish Android Wear-powered smartwatch that will be available for sale in the United States initially only at Best Buy on November 9th at price of $199. Later on, it will be available on Google Play too.

As more and more people are demanding for Android wear smartwatches, thus new and better devices are hitting the market. The next upcoming Android watch to go on sale is of Asus. On the 9th of November the watch would hit the retailer’s shelf. Initially, it would be available only for the Best Buy, but later on the watch will be available on Google play at the price of $199. 

We came to know about this watch in June at Google’s I/O via an exclusive report their on TechCrunch. The Asus Android watch is an interesting gadget due to various reasons. It comes with a unique design and is way better than the rectangular Android Wear Watches.

It also resembles the Apple watch which will be launched in spring 2015. It is the first watch to include User interface feature and it has very customized software. However, the watch does not support light senso feature. 

The initial release of Asus Android wear device is going to be pretty basic and in the long run the company plans to upgrade and update the watch, according to Google. The watch has a sleek stainless steel that extends across the rear casing of the watch.

Its 1.6 inches, curved Super Amoled screen will allow the users to enjoy Google’s first Android wearable device. The design of the watch was first introduced at IFA in September and it looks amazing. Although the watch does seem to look lightly large on your wrist, yet its elegance cannot be denied. 

Its classy buckle and tan leather strap makes it looks sizzling and elegant. The watch contains 4 GB of storage and 512 MB RAM. It is powered by a Qualcomm chip. The company has also incorporated the “tap tap” feature i.e. a function that allows you to quickly locate your phone.

There are more than 100 watch faces to pick from. With 1.2 GHz processing speed this watch is going to be very fast and it will move with your every move. Its heart rate sensor has the ability to measure relaxation level, according to Asus promotional material. 

It is a battery friendly device and its AMOLED display enhances user experience. Its interactive Android helps user to communicate with the watch. It also has the ability to track and monitor various health related issues such as number of steps, heart rate and number of calories burned. It allows you to view various information and you are able to give voice commands. 

The option of customizable strap adds to its stylishness and elegance. One disadvantage of Asus Android watch is that it cannot take advantage of the Android Wear platform firmware because there is no inbuilt GPS system. 

All in all the Android watch is a good mixture of function and Fashion. Its square shape makes it different from all the other Android watches including LG and Samsung. Don’t miss out your chance of buying such an amazing watch.
