What has this got to do with football?
Fox News network has announced that Bill O’Reilly will conduct a sit down interview with President Obama during the Fox Super bowl Sunday pre-game show. Why exactly the president will be doing an interview as part of the pre-game show of the Super Bowl is unknown. The interview will take place on February 2 at 4:30ET.
There will be an additional taped interview portion with the president that will be aired on Monday February 3 on the Fox News show The O’Reilly Factor. We don’t know right now what the topic of the interview will be.
It would be a safe bet Obama is asked who he is rooting for in the interview, but I doubt much of the focus will be on football. This will be the third time that O’Reilly has interviewed Obama.
Fox News wrote in a statement, “O’Reilly has conducted countless interviews with prominent newsmakers, including: former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, former President George W. Bush, Jon Stewart, Howard Stern, Bono and Stephen Colbert. According to Nielsen Media Research, The O’Reilly Factor averages nearly 3 million viewers at 8 PM and has been number one in that timeslot for 157 consecutive months while dominating every single program in all of cable news for more than 12 years. O’Reilly is also the author of numerous New York Times bestsellers, including the most recent books, Killing Jesus, Killing Kennedy and Killing Lincoln.”
