JJ Abrams revealed a set of character names of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in a series of retro trading cards.
Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be in theaters on December 18, 2015. At the end of last month the first rather cryptic Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has been released. Now JJ Abrams has revealed some of the character names in the new Star Wars movie.
Several 70s Star Wars trading card inspired images appeared that revealed some names, but by far not all. Several of the revealed names are just first names. The list of revealed Star Wars characters include the cute little R2-D2 turned into a snowman droid. It’s name is BB-8.
Other names include, Poe Dameron, Kylo Ren, Rey and Finn. The published cards also reveal Stormtroopers, X-Wings and the Millennium Falcon.
