TENSIO device to help high blood pressure consumers
The International Consumer Electronics Show to be held in Las Vegas from January 6th, 2015 until January 9th will be a place where companies from all over the world will be showcasing their new technologies. Health related consumer goods will certainly be part of the festivities. For those who suffer from high blood pressure will be given some good news at CES 2015. California based company, TENSIO, will be displaying a new app that will help people who suffer from ailments such as high blood pressure to be able to monitor how certain lifestyle choices can affect their conditions.
This new TENSIO app will work with AppleHealthKit by taking a patient’s medical records and allowing the consumer to see firsthand how doctors are looking at their records and what plan that they are using to help control a person’s condition. The new TENSIO app is the first of its kind and was developed by some of the top physicians who specialize in all kinds of conditions. Humetrix is also a part of the TENSIO development group and their executives say that the TENSIO app gives patients the ability to have more control over their treatments because with the mobile app they will be able to get top notch information on their conditions with just a touch of a button or touch of an app screen.
Humetrix is also known for other medical apps such as iBlueButton and SOS QR. iBlueButton is an app that allows for a person to be able to quickly check on their own medical records. SOS OR is for emergency care. Dr. Bettina Experton is the CEO of Humetrix and she will be taking part in one of the CES 2015 panels called, Is Data Your New Doc?. That panel will take place at the Venetian on January 7th at 1:30pm. The TENSIO app will be a part of the Humetrix booth at CES 2015 and can be found at the Sands Expo and the booth number will be 72937.
