- Four strap options
- Affordable price expected
- No details revealed
The Wave 2 comes with round touchscreen
2014 seemed to be the year of the wearables and it seemed that everyone was hopping on to the smartwatch bandwagon. Of course this trend is expected to continue in 2015 as well and those who still haven’t entered this realm are going to do so now. And the first one to get onto this project this year is going to be Alcatel. Images have emerged on the internet which show the Alcatel OneTouch Watch and TCL, the senior company, is quite happy about these advancements. The device has already been announced by the company, not in the most official way but still it has been revealed and this comes prior to the CES event coming up.
The announcement as such is only half-complete because no details regarding the watch have emerged thus far and from what we are suspecting, the details will spurt out in about a week’s time. The Wave 2 has a round display which is similar to that of the Moto 360 and we at least know from the picture that four different strap options are going to be available.
As Alcatel has decided to remain secretive about their wearable for some time, we are only left free to throw in our suggestions as to what we should be expecting. Since the Alcatel smatphones are known to run on Android, we are suspecting that is going to be the wearable’s OS. According to the Chinese company, they have prepared a “smart” pricing strategy for this one and we are quite sure it’s going to be in line with our expectations since their smartphone range is also very affordable.
