The EOS-17X gaming laptop previously hitting the 2.15-inch mark now measures only 1.52 inches
Nowadays it is an established fact that trendy means ‘slim’ but it took some time for Origin’s brawny EOS-17X gaming laptop to understand that. Previously, the laptop measured 2.15-inches in its thickness but it is finally being slimmed down 1.52 inches.
However, the measurements are not the only changes which Origin is bringing to their laptop; included inside are some upgraded internal too which include Intel’s Z97 chipset along with the ability of the device to overclock the hardware. It is understood that the build-to-order options are more standardized here and both the 15.6-inch EON-15X and the 17.3-inch EON-17X having the ability to support an Intel Core i7-4790K, up to 32GB RAM and NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 980M with 8GB RAM.
The amazing thing about the storage update is that you will be capable of cramming inside 4 TB worth of storage and also be able to split among M.2 SATA, SSD or traditional HDD options, not to mention the ability to hook up an external 4K display.
Origin is also prepared to roll out its fully refreshed EON15-S which is a super-slim unit measuring only 1.13 inches. It only weighs 5.5 pounds which is a drop of 36 percent compared to the previous generation. This one is going to feature 15.6-inch HD display along with a Core i7-4720HQ processor and a GeForce GTX 980M with 4GB RAM.
